I'm grateful...

I'm grateful for life,

Grateful for love,

And grateful for a purpose.

I'm grateful for my feet that I can raise up with no effort,

Grateful for eyes that see beautiful and majestic creations,

And I'm grateful for my hands that can manoeuvre themselves back and forth to allow me to carry cutlery.

In the midst of discomfort,

In the midst of uncertainty,

I'm grateful that I can be present to deeply feel it all.

With no more resistance,

No more trying to fight the now,

And no longer trying to change anything,

Just to sit in it all, and release me from the suffering of wanting - or thinking - about everything except the present state.

I'm grateful for it all.
