"If you ever have to choose between love and fear, choose love" - S.Dayile

"But love is risky", you may say.

My response to that would be, "if not risk, then what?"

Comfort? Never knowing what could have happened if you had tried? Safety?

Whenever you don't choose love, then you choose fear:

When you don't choose to give yourself another chance;

When you don't pursue what you love just because you're afraid you'll fail;

When you don't jump in with both feet and give it your all, because 'it didn't work out the last time'.

Then, you have cast your choice on fear.

Is that all you ever want your life to be?

Could have's, would have's and maybe's?

When it's all over,

After it's all been said and done, we only regret the chances we didn't take, the attempts we didn't make and the breakthroughs we could have reached if we had courage enough to choose love.

Yes, love is scary and risky, but if not risk and fear, then what?
