After it's all said and done,

My biggest regrets will be the chances I didn't take,

The potentialities I never explored.

It will be the moments I didn't forgive myself quickly enough,

And the hours I spent excessively occupied by worry.

After it's been said and done,

I don't want to question whether there were any other dormant capabilities,

Or whether I had fulfilled that for which I was put on earth.

I live every day at the mercy of this knowledge

So, if you see me a little pre-occupied in seemingly never-ending quests,

or if you see me laugh a little louder than is necessary,

Know that it's because after it's all said and done,

My greatest desire is to say: "I did it, and gave my all".
