A broken I love you.
Love unbroken | Random image from wix.com

We're broken people searching for love from other broken people, and yet we wonder why it is that we continue to hurt each other so.

[Edit] 25 June 2020

And these broken pieces cut the most innocent people - the partner we're in a relationship with, the stranger on the street who felt unsure of themselves, the newborn baby birthed by unexpectant parents.

In the process of searching for restoration in innocent people, we cut them deeper and deeper to the point where they too start to question their being, whether or not they are loved, or whether or not they even belong.

But, the broken don't know any better either.

So all we can do is hope that that they all experience a love so deep, and genuine, that it overcomes all bad.
