Person doing what they love - dancing.
If dancing makes you happy, dance more often | Random image from wix.com

How often do we spend time doing the things we love and that bring us joy? It wasn't until I was at a really low point in my life that I realised just how important this was.

I would wake up, only to be covered by feelings of sadness as if I welcomed them by opening my eyes.

After reading a piece by Rhonda Byrne, I decided to do things differently: rather than wallow in the feelings for extended periods. I decided to do something I enjoy doing - dancing. This was an act of welcoming love through doing something I love doing.

If we look around us long enough, we soon realise just how much negativity surrounds us - through news, the traffic congestion we encounter that angers us, or even just our daily conversations.

It's easy to find yourself drowning in it all.

It's also for this reason that its especially important for us to be intentional about doing the things that bring us happiness, laughter and positivity.

There's a power that follows seeking out the things you love.

What do you enjoy that you think you should spend more time doing?
