Will you keep going?

Long after all the praise has run dry,

When everyone has forgotten your work?

Will you keep going?

When all the hours you've devoted,

and the sleepless nights have gone unrecognised;

When the fire in your heart burns less than it did at the beginning?

Will you keep going?

What will even keep you going?

Perhaps it will be the realisation that there is much more to your life than the stagnant point you currently find yourself in,

And that there's a promise for those who continue in hope;

A hope of a better tomorrow.

But, if you don't keep going,

You lose the chance of ever knowing whether the praises could have overflown,

Or whether you could have created a work that would remain in hearts long after you're gone.

The time foregone producing and dreams would all be in vein,

You would lose out on any chance of finding out whether you could have re-ignited the fire within.

So, choose to keep going.

And chose it everyday.
