We are all journeying through life with a GPS in our possession.
Having possession of it does not suggest the acknowledgement of its presence:
You may be holding it in your hands where you can continuously look at it;
Or in your pocket, where you reach for it whenever you require it;
Or it may be deep within your backpack with all your other forgotten possessions.
Each of us has the choice to either walk the journey through our own knowledge,
You can look at the sites around you, and choose the one that looks appealing;
Or you may even just choose to journey on the path of the person next to you holding their compass.
I will not suggest that one path is superior to another,
But when I did not focus on my GPS, I chose my own paths and felt out of alignment:
Having been to all the nice sites, none gave fulfilment,
Having followed the path of other journeyers, it soon became apparent that they were using a GPS that was uniquely designed to take them on their individual path.
Eventually, we all need to remember that we have within our possession a GPS that we may (or may not) decide to use.
Your GPS has your predefined route on it.
If you will have courage enough to reach out for your GPS,
And faith enough to trust the path it takes you on, even when it looks unfamiliar, or unlike that of your peers.
If you won't get distracted by the sites you see, but rather look at them for inspiration and to determine whether or not they are included on your GPS,
If you shall glance continuously at your GPS, and choose its path over what you believe to be the right path, or over what others believe to be your right path,
Then you will take the path aligned to your unique and fulfilling destination.
