When you looked at the mirror and all you could see were your faults, you were enough.

When she left you for the man who had his life figured out, you were enough.

When you felt like you weren't beautiful unless he said you were,

even then you were enough.

When you woke up feeling like the world was against you, and that no one really understood you,

You were still enough.

See, what you didn't realise was that you never needed to wait on the day that they would finally see you as enough.

Because you were enough from the beginning.

You are enough altogether,

with no permission.
